Synopsis
"Reno 911!: Miami" (2007) is the feature-length comedy based on the Comedy Central series — watch online on iFILM. A bioterror attack locks down a national police convention in Miami Beach. Every cop in America is stuck inside. Except the Reno Sheriff's Department, who never made it past registration.
That leaves Thomas Lennon, Robert Ben Garant, Wendy McLendon-Covey, and the rest of the department's misfits with an unsupervised city and no one to stop them. Danny DeVito shows up. Things do not improve. The budget is clearly modest and the film does not care.
Garant directed from material he and the cast developed over three seasons of the show, which means the characters actually have history — the jokes land because you believe these specific idiots would make exactly these specific mistakes.
