Synopsis
Space Adventure Cobra (1982) — watch online on iFILM — is a feature-length anime directed by Osamu Dezaki, adapted from Buichi Terasawa's manga that ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1977. Produced by TMS Entertainment at 99 minutes, it packs gunfights, alien prisons and a neon-soaked space noir atmosphere into a single propulsive adventure.
Space pirate Cobra — the most-wanted man in the galaxy, with a psycho-gun built into his left arm — is hired by bounty hunter Jane Flower to break her twin sister out of the most fortified prison in the universe. Their target is controlled by the enigmatic Crystal Bowie, and the Guild that has hunted Cobra for years is right behind them.
