Synopsis

Con man Kevin borrows a hundred thousand from a mob boss and vanishes. When the muscle tracks him down, he ducks into an upscale Pennsylvania suburb and passes himself off as an old family friend the family barely remembers. The lies stack up fast — he is suddenly a lawyer, then a dentist, then somehow a golf authority — and the household keeps buying it, which is both the joke and the engine driving the whole story. Jeffrey Jones plays the perplexed family man who gives Kevin just a little too much benefit of the doubt.
