Synopsis
Last of the Dogmen (1995) is an American adventure western built around a mystery, and you can watch it online on iFILM. High in the Montana wilderness, a century-old secret is still hiding.
Tracker Lewis (Tom Berenger) is hired to hunt three escaped convicts but turns up only blood and an arrow lodged in a tree. Archaeologist Lillian (Barbara Hershey) recognizes the handiwork of Cheyenne Dog Soldiers — a warrior band the history books say was wiped out back in 1864 at Sand Creek. The two head into the backcountry to test an impossible hunch: that a tribe untouched by the modern age has survived out there.
Director Tab Murphy made an old-fashioned lost-world tale about two eras colliding, trading effects for sweeping Rocky Mountain vistas. A quiet, slightly earnest picture for anyone who likes their westerns without a shootout every five minutes. Stream Last of the Dogmen (1995) online on iFILM.
