Synopsis

Street hustler Azro has trained his capuchin monkey Dodger to pickpocket wallets and lift valuables on demand. When Azro's abuse drives Dodger to flee, the monkey lands with nine-year-old Eva — the very girl whose apartment it just robbed. Eva takes the little thief in, bonds with it, and slowly breaks its criminal habits. For Azro, who already pocketed a mob advance for a big job, losing the monkey is a catastrophe.
