Flashback

FBI agent John Buckner is handed a routine escort job: deliver Huey Walker — a veteran hippie fugitive wanted for two decades over a minor stunt against Spiro Agnew — to the nearest federal prison. Nothing about it goes to plan. Walker proves slippery, a small-town sheriff turns out to be genuinely dangerous, and Buckner slowly realizes the gap between himself and his prisoner is narrower than his badge suggests.
