Synopsis

Watch Sesame Street (1969) Season 31 online on iFILM — 65 episodes of the gentle American preschool show, first aired in 2000. By its thirty-first year the program is familiar to several generations, yet the recipe holds: lessons hidden inside play, songs and jokes.

The episodes don't share one story; each follows a small event on the street. Dancers from the New York City Ballet teach Big Bird and Elmo a new step. Telly's hamster is about to have babies. Big Bird starts a rock band called the Alphatones, the whole block throws an all-day opera, and Elmo writes his own book about numbers. Along the way kids count, sort letters and practice sharing, patience and not calling each other names.
