Vic never raises his voice. That's the point. Each time a man disappears from Melinda's orbit, he stays calm, pours another drink, tends to his snails. Detective-minded neighbor Don Wilson, played by Tracy Letts, starts doing the math out loud. Melinda keeps bringing new men home anyway.
