Synopsis
The Retrieval (2013) — a Civil War-era drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Chris Eska. Will (Ashton Sanders), a thirteen-year-old Black boy, survives by working for a white bounty hunter gang — luring fugitive slaves close enough to be taken back south.
His next assignment sends him north to find a man named Nate (Tishuan Scott), earn his trust, and bring him back. The job goes as planned until it doesn't. Somewhere on the road, the transaction starts to feel like something Nate won't let stay transactional.
