Synopsis
Suzanne (2013) is a French drama by Katell Quillévéré that you can watch online on iFILM. A working-class girl raised without a mother, Suzanne becomes a mother herself far too young, sharing a small-town life with her truck-driver father and her sister.
Then she meets Julien, a small-time crook with an easy smile, and everything tilts. She abandons her child, her home, her whole quiet world to follow him into a life of running, arrests and prison. Sara Forestier carries the title role; François Damiens plays the worn-down father who never stops waiting, and Adèle Haenel is the sister who stays close even as Suzanne keeps wrecking her own life.
The story spans nearly two decades, told in glances rather than plot twists. It refuses to judge its heroine — it just watches her make the same wrong choice, year after year, and lets you feel why. Quiet, raw, deeply human. Stream Suzanne (2013) online on iFILM.
