Synopsis
Age of Heroes (2011) is a British war action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Adrian Vitoria and built around a true story most people have never heard of. In the early 1940s, a Naval Intelligence officer named Ian Fleming — years before he put a martini in James Bond's hand — helped design and launch 30 Assault Unit, a commando squad tasked with grabbing Nazi intelligence before it could be buried or burned.
Sean Bean plays the unit's commanding officer. James D'Arcy takes on the Fleming figure, Danny Dyer rounds out the squad. Their mission: operate behind enemy lines in occupied Europe and extract whatever technical secrets the Germans least wanted the Allies to have.
