Synopsis
Why Did You Kill Me? (2021) is a true-crime documentary you can watch online on iFILM. After 24-year-old Crystal Theobald was shot dead in California, her family refused to wait for the police to find whoever pulled the trigger.
Her mother and cousin built fake social-media profiles and started talking to the people they suspected, a bait that slowly erases the line between justice and revenge. Director Fredrick Munk assembles the film out of those very messages, home video, and interviews with the people closest to the case.
