Meanwhile the rest of the house spirals — Dani hits an existential crisis, Paulita gets jealous, Carlota brings home a posh new boyfriend, and little Rocío finally lands her first movie role. Segura himself plays the frazzled father trying to juggle it all and losing.

Segura writes, directs and produces these films, and in Spain they reliably pack cinemas as a watch-the-whole-family kind of release. The humor is broad and loud rather than clever, and the army of kids on screen carries half the gags. It's the sort of easy, noisy crowd-pleaser to put on when nobody wants to think too hard.
