Trick or Treaters

Trick or Treaters (Die drei Räuber, 2007) is a German animated feature directed by Hayo Freitag, available to watch online on iFILM. Three fearsome robbers terrorise the forest roads after dark — no carriage is safe. Then a small orphan named Tiffany falls into their hands and asks them a very simple question: what do you actually do with all that gold?

Based on Tomi Ungerer's 1961 picture book — a Swiss children's classic that has sold over a million copies — the film holds to the dark, graphic look of the original illustrations. The voice cast includes Joachim Król and Katharina Thalbach. At 75 minutes it skips the padding.
