Synopsis

The Anomaly is a portal. It connects planets. Hope, Echo, and Gabriel follow Bellamy through it, arriving on Bardo — home of the Disciples, a quasi-military order that has been jumping between worlds for centuries in preparation for what they call the Last War: a test they believe will decide whether humanity deserves something greater. Clarke holds what's left of Sanctum together as Sheidheda, the Dark Commander, makes his move. Cadogan — founder of the old Second Dawn bunker cult — has been preparing for this moment for a very long time. Bellamy comes back through the Anomaly changed. Madi ends up in the hands of people who want what's inside her head.
