Synopsis
Angels Wear White (嘉年华, 2017) is a Chinese drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Vivian Qu and selected for official competition at the Venice Film Festival. At a motel in a small seaside resort town, two young schoolgirls are assaulted by an older man.
Mia, a teenager working the front desk that night, is the only witness. She has no ID, no stable address, and everything to lose. Twelve-year-old Wen, one of the victims, finds that the assault is just the beginning — her own family would rather the whole thing disappear quietly.
