Synopsis
The Fruit of Evolution (進化の実, 2023), Season 2 — watch all 12 episodes online on iFILM. Picking up from the academy invitation that closed Season 1, Seiichi Hiiragi now stands in front of a classroom: F-class, the school's designated problem group that no one else would take.
Teaching carries its own hazards. The Great Devil Order has been moving on the academy's students, its apostles treating them as fodder for a resurrection ritual. A childhood friend surfaces from Seiichi's old life on Earth; Barnabus the principal finally explains what the Fruit of Evolution actually is and where this world came from. The season earns its darker tone — by episode seven Seiichi isn't just struggling with lesson plans, and the comedy wrapper peels back noticeably as the finale approaches.
