ZIM is an Irken soldier with galaxy-sized ambitions and a spectacular talent for failure. His commanders ship him off to Earth — officially as a covert mission, unofficially to get him as far away as possible. Disguised as a human kid, he attends middle school with his glitching robot sidekick GIR and hatches increasingly unhinged schemes to conquer the planet. Only one classmate, the conspiracy-obsessed Dib, sees through the disguise — and nobody believes a word he says.
