Synopsis
Guimoon: The Lightless Door (귀문, 2021) is a South Korean supernatural horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Sim Deok-geun opens in 1990, when a custodian at a secluded community center kills all the residents and takes his own life, then traces the building's haunted aftermath across the following decade.
A paranormal investigator who lost his mother during an exorcism at that same location decides to enter on Old Year's Night — the one night per year when the boundary between the living and the dead reportedly thins. The film locks him inside with what the building has been holding. Slow-burn rather than jump-cut, it earns its dread through confined space and accumulating unease rather than gore. The right watch for fans of atmospheric Asian horror.
