Synopsis

The second season runs on a love triangle — Devi juggling Paxton and Ben while managing to make new enemies at the same time. A new student arrives from India, Aneesa, and Devi's first move is hostility. One careless comment turns into a damaging rumor, and the fallout costs her more than she expected. Paxton, recovering from an accident, decides he wants to prove he's more than a handsome face and actually starts taking school seriously. Fabiola keeps putting off introducing Eve to her mother. Kamala fights for respect in her lab. Nalini weighs whether to stay in the US or move back to India. The season closes at the winter dance — with a lot of overdue reckoning on every front.
