Synopsis

Anonymous messages about Paxton send Devi straight into detective mode, threatening the relationship before it's barely started. Ben is now with Aneesa, but he's so deep in his Ivy League ambitions and his father's expectations that Aneesa can feel herself disappearing. A debate tournament pushes Devi's competitive streak past the line. Kamala brings a new love interest home to her grandmother Pati's distinct disapproval. By the end of the school year, the Sherman Oaks crew gets more or less what they were after — and discovers that having it is its own kind of hard.
