Season 5 of All Hail King Julien (2014) brings thirteen episodes of the Netflix animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The lemur king tries to become a better ruler and, naturally, makes everything worse.
Social media reaches the jungle this time, and the season turns into a sharp satire of the media circus. Julien reboots himself as "King JULIEN 2.0," spins propaganda through Xixi's talk show, wires the island with surveillance cameras, and picks a tea-versus-coffee fight with Karl's corporation. Karl, for his part, runs a contest to crown Madagascar's next great villain. And as things wind down, wedding bells: Clover plans to marry Sage, and the king is in no way ready for it.
