Hours earlier he had stepped in to protect a roadside diner waitress from her violent ex. Now the two are trapped together in a freezing car, and the cold turns out to be the smaller of their problems. A beast prowls the dark just beyond the glass, and neither of them has a way to fight it or the storm. Allen Leach and Nina Bergman carry almost the entire film in that cramped, frostbitten space.

Director Sébastien Drouin bets everything on claustrophobia: one location, a whiteout past the windshield, and the slow dread that no direction is safe anymore.
