Nightbitch

A former artist has put her career on hold to raise a toddler in the suburbs. Her husband travels most of the week. The days blur into an identical loop — playground, snacks, bath, sleep. She's frustrated in a way she can't name to anyone. Then her teeth start sharpening. Fur appears. The scent of something outside at night pulls at her in a way she doesn't fully want to resist.

Adapted from Rachel Yoder's novel, the film uses the body-horror premise as a straight-faced metaphor rather than a gimmick. Adams carries it without overplaying — her character's anger stays just below the surface for most of the runtime, which is exactly the point.
