Synopsis

A killer is targeting women, and each body is left with the same object — a crescent-shaped locket. No apparent link between victims. No motive the police can trace. When one of the intended targets survives the attack, she and her husband decide not to wait for the authorities. They start piecing together the pattern themselves, knowing the killer has a specific number in mind and is working through it methodically.
Lenzi gives the film a sharper hook than most giallo entries from the same period: the locket gimmick is odd enough to generate genuine mystery rather than just atmosphere.
