"Immortals" (Yaşamayanlar, 2018) is a Turkish dark fantasy series you can watch online on iFILM. Mia has been a vampire for 164 years and wants none of it. She arrives in Istanbul with her mentor Carmen for one reason: find Dmitry, the ancient vampire who turned her, and end him — because killing him is the only way to reclaim her humanity.

Elçin Sangu brings a sharp, controlled intensity to Mia that keeps the character from becoming a genre cliché. Selma Ergeç is Carmen, steady and dangerous. Kerem Bürsin plays Numel, a vampire who long ago turned his back on his own kind — and ends up as an unlikely ally. As revenge collides with an impending war between vampires and humans, Mia faces a question she didn't plan for: which side does she actually belong to?
