Synopsis
Mother (Anne, 2016) — watch online on iFILM. This Turkish drama stars Cansu Dere as Zeynep, a substitute teacher filling in at a primary school while waiting to hear back from a university. She notices a seven-year-old girl named Melek: bruises, hunger, the particular stillness of a child who has stopped expecting anyone to help.
Melek's mother Sule (Vahide Perçin) is the source of the harm, and the official channels move too slowly. Zeynep makes a decision — she takes the girl and disappears. From that point the series becomes a sustained chase: Melek needs safety, Zeynep needs time, and the law recognizes only the biological parent. Beren Gökyıldız plays Melek with a quiet precision rare for a child actor.
