Synopsis
Cranberry Sorbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti, 2022) is a Turkish family drama you can watch online on iFILM. Doğa is a first-year dental student when she falls for her classmate Fatih and marries him faster than anyone expected. Her mother Kıvılcım — secular, self-made, raised two daughters alone — is not thrilled. It's not Fatih she objects to. It's the world he comes from.
His family is devout and tradition-bound. Hers is anything but. Director Ketche builds the series around this everyday collision, with Evrim Alasya and Barış Kılıç on one side, Sıla Türkoğlu and Doğukan Güngör on the other — four people who all think they're being reasonable. The drama lives in the gap between what each family considers normal.
