Synopsis

Orhun grew up wealthy and distant, shaped by a cold mother and the one real bond he had — his twin sister Nihan, who left to work as a volunteer doctor in Eritrea. When contact goes silent and the worst is confirmed — Nihan poisoned and killed by a local gang — Orhun's grief turns into a plan. Hira is a destitute young woman trapped by traffickers whom he holds responsible. His punishment: he forces her into marriage.
The series runs on the friction between two people locked together by resentment. Orhun's revenge was supposed to hurt Hira. Instead it starts to change him. His status-obsessed mother Afife, who looks down on anyone without money, keeps the tension tight. Whether either of them ever gets free — in any real sense — is what the show keeps asking.
