Synopsis

The season jumps across three eras. There's the teenage 1980s, the newsroom grind of 1982, and grown-up life in the early 2000s. The writers build the story out of secrets — an assault, a hidden romance, a lie that puts the whole bond at risk — and each episode drops one more piece of the past to explain the crack in the present.
