Synopsis
Patriot (2015) is an Amazon Prime spy dark comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Intelligence officer John Tavner, played by Michael Dorman, has one job: stop Iran from going nuclear. No official cover, no safety net. His disguise is a mid-level position at a Midwestern industrial piping firm. His other habit is writing folk songs about classified operations.
Tavner is spectacularly bad at keeping things invisible. His father, played by Terry O'Quinn, runs the operation from a distance and knows exactly how thin the margin is. Kurtwood Smith appears as the oblivious piping firm boss who keeps making Tavner's situation structurally worse. Created by Steven Conrad, the show ran two seasons.
