Synopsis
Juvenile Justice (소년심판, 2022) is a Korean Netflix crime drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Hong Jong-chan and led by Kim Hye-soo. One season, eight episodes, complete.
Judge Sim Eun-seok makes no secret of her contempt for young offenders — and gets assigned to juvenile court anyway. Each case she hears is harder to untangle than the last: the teenagers in front of her are often carrying damage inflicted by adults, and the law gives her only blunt instruments to work with. Kim Hye-soo plays the role with a rigidity that slowly, visibly costs her something.
The series landed in Netflix's global top-10 shortly after its release. It works as a courtroom procedural and as something sharper: a look at what the justice system actually does with children, who bears responsibility, and whether punishment and rehabilitation can coexist in the same sentence.
