Synopsis
Inspector Koo (구경이, 2021), Season 1 is a Korean crime-comedy — 12 episodes — that you can watch online on iFILM.
Goo Kyung-yi is a former cop who reinvented herself as an insurance investigator. She does not take cases for justice. She takes them because boredom is the one thing she cannot stand. Her opponent this season is Yi-kyung — a university student who picks her targets by a logic of her own and stages each scene to look like anything but murder. The two circle each other across all twelve episodes: Kyung-yi dismantling staged accidents and campus schemes, Yi-kyung adjusting her methods and eventually allying with a backer whose agenda does not quite line up with hers. By the final stretch both women are operating in each other's blind spots, and the show stops being about solving crimes and starts being about what drives the people on both sides.
