Synopsis
Inspector Koo (구경이, 2021) is a South Korean crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM, built around a wonderfully un-heroic detective. Gu Kyung-yi is a former cop turned insurance investigator who'd rather game in her pajamas than chase justice.
She takes cases for the thrill, not the moral high ground. One of them puts her on the trail of a serial killer she's convinced is hiding behind the face of a polite university student (Kim Hye-jun). What follows is a cat-and-mouse duel between two women — one always a step ahead, the other hooked on the chase itself.
Directed by Lee Jung-heum for JTBC, the show swerves between grim thriller, slapstick and action without ever picking a lane.
