Synopsis
F is for Family (2015), Season 1 is an adult animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes set in a working-class corner of 1970s America, where the Murphy family lives loud and broke.
This is where it all begins. Frank hauls luggage for an airline he can't stand, then stumbles into a shot at management — and the promotion instantly turns his old crew against him. Sue wants to be more than a housewife and tries to sell her way into a new life; nobody in 1975 is interested. Bill, eleven and small for his age, gets cornered by the neighborhood bully episode after episode. Halloween goes wrong. A football game lands Frank a dangerous new friend. Christmas Eve falls apart at the worst possible moment.
Stand-up comedian Bill Burr built the show from his own childhood, and the anger underneath the jokes is real, not staged. Season 1 is short and mean — more an introduction to the Murphys than a full arc. It lands best with viewers who like their comedy rough and unsweetened.
