Synopsis
Ticks (1993) is an American creature-feature horror film you can watch online on iFILM. A group of teenagers arrives at an outdoor retreat in northern California — and walks straight into a pest problem that no amount of bug spray is going to fix. Illegal pot farmers upstream have been dosing the forest with growth chemicals, and the local tick population has responded by growing to the size of a fist.
Seth Green and Alfonso Ribeiro are among the cast, doing their best to run fast and scream on cue. Director Tony Randel keeps the film lean and unpretentious — the practical creature effects are the main attraction, and they deliver. Stream Ticks (1993) online on iFILM.
