Synopsis

Wildcats (1986) is a sports comedy starring Goldie Hawn that you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Michael Ritchie. Molly McGrath is a high school track coach who fights her way into the football coaching job she's always wanted — and gets assigned to Central High, the one school in the district where no one expects anything from anyone.

Her new team, the Wildcats, are unconvinced. They don't run drills, they don't listen, and they definitely don't think a woman belongs on the sideline. Molly does not agree. Swoosie Kurtz plays her sharp-tongued friend, James Keach is the ex-husband making the divorce complicated, and two very young Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson have early roles on the team that are worth catching.

The film doesn't reinvent the genre. It doesn't try to. What it does is let Hawn be funny and tenacious in equal measure for a hundred minutes, which turns out to be enough. Stream Wildcats (1986) on iFILM.
