Half a Chance

Half a Chance (Une chance sur deux, 1998) is a French action-comedy you can watch online on iFILM, and it pulls off a casting coup: Jean-Paul Belmondo and Alain Delon share the screen, with Patrice Leconte directing.

Alice, barely twenty, walks out of prison and goes hunting for the man who might be her father. There's a catch — two men fit the bill. Léo and Julien are old partners with shady résumés, equally handy with a Magnum or a stick of dynamite. Then Alice steals the wrong car. It belongs to the Russian mob, and suddenly the trio has gangsters and the French police chasing them across the country. Vanessa Paradis plays Alice, and her reckless streak keeps both veterans off balance.
