Synopsis

Anis has been written off by his friends as hopeless with women. After losing his close friend Isma three years ago, he stopped trying altogether — then finally pushed himself back out. The first person he met was Madeleine. Convinced she's out of his league, he starts telling small lies to seem more impressive. The lies multiply.
The film earns its comedy from a specific kind of male anxiety — not broad slapstick, but the slow-motion disaster of someone who can't stop digging himself in deeper.
