Synopsis
Suburra: Blood on Rome (2017), Season 1 is available to watch online on iFILM — a ten-episode Italian crime drama from Netflix about a fight over land on the coast near Rome. One prized stretch of seafront in Ostia is wanted by everyone at once: the mob, crooked politicians and the Vatican.
The first season throws together three young men who can't win alone. Aureliano from a seaside crime clan, Spadino from a Roma family that runs Rome, and Gabriele — Lele, the son of a local fixer — form a fragile pact against an old predator known as Samurai, who quietly works both the gangs and the ambitious deputy Cinaglia. Deals collapse, partners turn on each other, and players like Sara inside the Vatican curia scheme as hard as any of the men. The bigger the land deal grows, the fewer exits anyone has left.
