We Summon the Darkness (2020) is an American horror thriller directed by Marc Meyers — watch online on iFILM. After the show, the trio invites three guys back to a remote country house for a private party. It starts as a night of loud music and cheap beer. It does not stay that way. Johnny Knoxville turns up as a fire-and-brimstone televangelist convinced that heavy metal is the root of all evil — and that framing matters more than it first appears.

Alan Trezza's script hinges on a genre pivot that lands hardest when you don't see it coming, so this is best watched cold. The 1980s setting — moral panic, satanic scares, Christian broadcasting — gives the whole thing an extra layer of dark absurdity that most genre films skip.
