Synopsis

Nagate is renowned now, which changes almost nothing about the danger ahead. The season's defining arrival is Tsumugi Shiraui — a chimera built from Gauna biology and human memory by scientists who ran out of other options. She fights alongside the pilots, but not everyone on Sidonia accepts that arrangement. Meanwhile, Commander Kobayashi sets course for Planet Nine in the Lem System, and a small recon team goes ahead into conditions that test every assumption about survival. The Crimson Hawk Moth, an enormous humanoid Gauna, hunts the pilots with a precision unlike anything they have faced before.
