Synopsis
Legendary Assassin (狼牙, 2008) is a Hong Kong action film starring Wu Jing that you can watch online on iFILM. A storm strands a hitman on a tiny island, where his only company is Holly, a soft-hearted young police officer.
Holly believes people are decent by nature, cop or fisherman alike. The stranger helps her take down three escaped convicts, and the station throws a hero's welcome. Then mobsters land: someone took their boss's head, and the trail points at the newcomer. When the headless body turns up, the guest vanishes and Holly is meant to draw him back out.
Wu Jing also co-directs and choreographs the fights, which is why the hand-to-hand work lands as hard as it does — close, fast, barely a wire in sight.
