The Twin

The Twin (2022) is a Finnish horror film directed by Taneli Mustonen — watch it online on iFILM. After a devastating accident kills one of their twin sons, Rachel and Anthony flee to a remote Finnish village with their surviving boy Elliot, hoping the silence will help them heal. It doesn't.

Elliot starts talking to someone who isn't there. His mannerisms shift in small, wrong ways. Rachel, played by Teresa Palmer, feels it before she can name it: something is using her son. The village locals deflect every question, her husband Anthony dismisses her fears, and the pastoral setting that was supposed to be a refuge turns suffocating. The tagline says "Evil only a mother could love" — the film earns it slowly, not cheaply.
