The host is Amaryllis Fox, a former CIA analyst who treats the drug trade the way a market researcher would. Each episode picks one substance — cocaine, heroin, meth, synthetics, cannabis, opioids — and follows the money instead of the morality.

Fox goes to the source: coca farmers in Colombia, street dealers, lab chemists, legal growers cashing in on legalization. She does the math out loud, tracking what a gram costs at the farm and what it sells for on a corner, then asks who actually pockets the margin. Her conclusion lands hard — as long as this stays the most profitable business on earth, no police force is going to end it. Director Jesse Sweet keeps it cool and analytical rather than scary.
