Synopsis
I Can Only Imagine 2 (2026) is an American music drama you can watch online on iFILM, picking up the story of Bart Millard, frontman of the Christian rock band MercyMe. The song that made his name has the country singing along — but home is harder than any stage.
Bart and his wife Shannon are raising their son Sam, who lives with type 1 diabetes: constant insulin shots, constant watching. The teenager resents being hovered over and won't take his condition seriously. When the band lands its biggest tour yet, Bart makes the call to bring Sam along — and, to his surprise, Shannon and the manager back the idea. Opening for them is a hopeful young singer, Tim Timmons, who turns out to be carrying burdens and secrets of his own. J. Michael Finley returns as Bart, with Milo Ventimiglia, Sophie Skelton and Dennis Quaid in support. Directors Brent McCorkle and Andrew Erwin keep it sincere — faith, fatherhood and a second chance.
