Beat the World

"Beat the World" (2011) is a Canadian hip-hop dance drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Robert Adetuyi brings three crews — Latin American, European, and Canadian — to Detroit for the International Beat the World championship.

Each crew arrives carrying problems: gambling debts, a bad break-up, egos that won't yield. Tyrone Marshall Brown plays Yuson, the troubled lead of the Canadian squad, while British b-boy Chase Armitage anchors the European crew with some of the sharpest street-dance sequences in the film. Mishael Morgan and rapper Kardinal Offishall round out the cast.
