Fatherland

Fatherland (1994) is an alternate-history thriller from director Christopher Menaul, and you can watch online on iFILM. It imagines a 1960s in which the Reich never fell, and Berlin is busy preparing a lavish birthday celebration for an aging Hitler.

Kripo investigator Xavier March (Rutger Hauer) is handed the drowning death of a senior Nazi official, and the trail keeps leading toward something the state has buried for two decades. American reporter Charlie Maguire (Miranda Richardson), in town for the festivities, gets pulled in alongside him. The deeper the pair dig, the closer they edge to the truth behind the regime's tidy story about Jews "resettled in the East."
