Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever (2016) is a grim flesh-eating-virus horror you can watch online on iFILM. Five college friends rent a backwoods cabin to celebrate graduation. Within days their skin is rotting off their bones.

It opens like an ordinary getaway: a campfire, cheap beer, no phone signal, miles of trees. Then one of them falls sick, and the infection tears through the group faster than anyone can react. The locals turn hostile, and raw panic makes these friends a bigger danger to each other than the disease itself. The cast includes Gage Golightly, Matthew Daddario, Samuel Davis and Nadine Crocker.

This is a near shot-for-shot remake of Eli Roth's 2002 debut, with Roth producing and Travis Zariwny in the director's chair. Critics hammered it precisely for copying the original so closely, but the gory body horror and filthy dread are all intact.
