Satanic

Satanic (2016) is a horror film directed by Jeffrey G. Hunt — watch online on iFILM. Four twenty-somethings are driving to Coachella and take a detour through Los Angeles, ticking off real occult crime sites on a morbid bucket list. Sarah Hyland plays one of the group, and everything is fine right up until they pick up a mysterious young woman on the side of the road.

She says little. They ask the wrong questions. What started as dark tourism curdles into something the four of them are not equipped to handle. Hunt keeps the tension low-key and creeping rather than relying on jump scares, which makes the film's sharp pivot in the third act land harder.
